Named for the Point of Ayr lighthouse, on Talacre Beach (just 2 miles away), and our flagship 2 berth glamping pod here at Emlyn's Coppice. It's decor has a "Coastal" twist in keeping with its namesake. With woollen throws, fresh & light beach inspired colour scheme, and local coastal artwork on the walls. Ayr sits, hidden away in the furthest most reaches of the Coppice clearing, making it a perfect haven of privacy, with a natural pond in the private garden, and horses cantering in the paddocks behind.
Ayr is further enhanced by being an extra metre longer than our standard pod, and with a side entrance. enables the addition of a much larger ensuite shower room, and a sumptuous snuggle chair to cuddle up in front of your wood burning stove on those cooler nights.
Ayr has a sun/star deck area to the front leading to your private and secluded Wood fired hot tub!
All our pods also have kitchenette facilities, and underfloor heating.
Want to head out? the Beach (Talacre) is just a 5 min drive, or the resort town of Prestatyn is just an 8 min drive away.

Had a lovely weekend here in the 'Ayr' pod. Loved the decor. It was clean to a high standard and had everything we needed for a short break. Very cosy and warm. Bed was super comfortable. The hot tub was very nice. It is in a great location, far enough away from the road and right in the heart of nature. Encountered an issue where both gas bottles ran out overnight, but this was quickly sorted in the morning by Nic, who was incredibly polite. I have absolutely no complaints about Emlyn's Coppice, we had a lovely time and will definitely consider returning in the summer!

Very cosy setting, has everything you need when it comes to a glamping trip. Location wise its great, 10 mins away from Prestatyn and you can get to Chester or Llandudno within 30/40 mins. Pods are tidy and well looked after, loved the decor and added furnishings, couldn't fault the bathroom either. Only issue we had was with the lighter for the firewood not working, I contacted the staff, they were very friendly and the issue was resolved in minutes. Would definitely stay again.

Sumptuous Interiors
Ayr is our flagship pod, and is thus kept shipshape in it's Maritime theme. Oars cross overhead as you have a morning lie-in under beautiful woolen comforters. Or take a moment to curl up on your snuggle chair with a book, whilst delicate scents to compliment the surroundings, waft lazily through the air. Step outside and take a seat or a spot of lunch out on your deck, in the private and secluded retreat hidden away from the world.
